Glutino Organic Wildberry Bars

March 24, 2008

Just my luck, I find another snack bar I like and then they go MIA on me! I picked these up a few weeks ago at my local health food market, and they were perfect for stuffing in my PC bag for long delays at the airport.  But they have disappeared off the shelf and I can’t [...]

Bob’s Red Mill Pizza Crust Mix….Worth The Wait!

March 20, 2008

Bob’s Red Mill is one of the ‘big players’ in the gluten free market. When they come out with a new product, every other company better watch out! Bob’s Pizza Crust Mix required only a few minutes to put together and then you will have to wait for the dough to rise for 20 minutes (just enough time to get [...]

Martha Stewart Classic Tomato Soup by Kirkland

March 12, 2008

Another great find from a trip to Costco was this Martha Stewart soup by Kirkland.  I should warn you that this product is not labeled gluten free but I didn’t see anything that would cause issues.  The tomato soup had a very homemade style taste and texture; it was a perfect compliment to my GF grilled cheese [...]

Maggie’s Gluten-Free Goodies

March 8, 2008

I may have spoken to soon about Trader Joe’s brownies being some of the best around.  Maggie’s Gluten-Free Goodies sent some samples that I think might be the ones to beat!  I really like how easy everything was to mix and bake too.  The sugar cookies where the kids favorite and didn’t last long in [...]

Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Brownie Mix

March 4, 2008

A super quick and easy way to make brownies just like the ones at the grocery store.  These brownies even came out of the oven with a little crispy topping and a moist, soft, chewy inside.  I think next time I will throw in some peanut butter chips or nuts but they were really great as [...]

Stonyfield Yogurt

March 2, 2008

When you do your research, you will find that many companies out there have products that are free of gluten.  But it’s those companies that make the effort to certify their proucts and label them gluten free whom we as consumers should support.  Stonyfield Farm has just announced that many of their products have [...]

Mrs. Mays Naturals

February 28, 2008

I live off of snack bars and I thought that I tried them all until my recent trip to Costco.  Mrs. Mays Trio Bars aren’t compressed and mushy like a Power Bar, and they are not ‘break your teeth’ hard like many of the other bars out there.  The “Trio” idea is that all bars have different [...]

Riceworks Gourmet Brown Rice Crisps

February 26, 2008

WOW!  These Riceworks crisps are not what I expected at all!  I found them at Costco (and soon to be coming to a Target near you) as they were being used to sample a bean dip, but I was way more interested in the chips than the dip.  The Salsa Fresca flavor is perfect by [...]

SoyJoy

February 19, 2008

While shopping at CVS today I ran into a big display of Soyjo Nutrition Bars  The raisin almond and mango coconut flavors looked most interesting so I gave those a shot. These bars have a very unique texture and flavor that I really liked. Don’t mistake them for a snack bar, as in something sweet to eat after [...]
