Bone Suckin’ Sauce

One of my Twitter buddies, Dawn from Partybluprints.com, gave me a tip on some of the meanest BBQ sauce on the planet. I wrote the folks at Bone Suckin’ Sauce to see if they wanted to go under the GFP microscope and they were happy to send some samples. The three samples were Original, Hot, and Mustard.
These sauces have won countless awards and for good reason. I first grilled with the Original flavor which sent the neighbors over to my grill imeadiately! The aroma was fantastic, the sauce was think, and my popularity in the ‘hood spiked to an all timie high. The original was pretty much what you expect from an award winning product like this. Just the right amount of sweet vs. smoke flavor. The kids LOVED it (so did the cat which was a little weird), as did the neighbors. But as good as it was, there wasn’t that bite that I wanted…so I went for the Hot Sauce. Now for me, I thought this was it, this was my new grilling secret weapon! Was it hot? Just enough. Was in torture? Not in the least.
I wanted to be thorough so I thew some Mustard sauce on and….omg…wow!!! When the guys and I took a bite, we just made those satisfying grunting noises and deep evil laughs…you KNOW you got it right when you can’t even speak. I usually only like honey-mustard, but this has no honey, its not quite as hot as the Hot sauce, and not quite as sweet as the Original….but it has bite and REAL flavor.
I dont think you can go wrong with any of these but if you already know you like sweet vs. hot, or robust flavor vs. mild, then I hope my review above helps you pick the right one. By the way, if anyone ever touches the Mustard sauce in my house…then we’re gonna have a really bad day, got it?!

PS, Be sure to check out Dawn’s ParyBluPrint.com website. With her party ideas and this sauce, you will have a great time!

PSS…If anyone has trouble with my new ‘FlipBook’ pictures, please leave a comment or email me and let me know, ok peeps? Cool.

Thanks for the review, I am definitely going to have to try the mustard sauce. My wife and I have been eating Bone Suckin BBQ Sauce for over 5 years, it is our favorite. My mom lives near Raleigh, NC so she brings us a case every now and then. Good stuff!

My husband has Celiac and we stumbled on this BBQ Sauce. It was delicious. My daughter and I both eat it as well. Make sure you get the thick variety, it sticks to the meat better.
