Located in historic Dublin, Ohio is Sugar Inc. Cupcakes & Tea Salon. When I walked in I was surprised to the the modern styling and trendy dining area which is a breath of fresh air in this part of town. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how interesting the display was for the cupcakes. They almost look like art or gems instead of cupcakes.
For now, gluten-free cupcakes are only available on Wednesdays and in just a few (delicious) flavors. However, Ava who is the owner, would like to have some suggestions on additional flavors and hints that if the gluten-free crowd were to really take to her desserts then it might be possible to have them available on more than just one day. She, of course, can take special orders anytime for birthdays or special events for gluten-free peeps.
If you are in Columbus, I would like to suggest that we find a Wednesday (or maybe even a Saturday with Ava’s permission) once per month were we can all meet up just to shoot the breeze…any takers? So let me know if you would like to try these as a group, or just stop in and see Ava today to let her know what flavors are your favorites.

I stopped for lunch today and it was luscious! I was tempted to go straight to the cupcakes, but I noticed they had organic salads. I chose the Sugar Signature. A refreshing spinach salad with cranberries, brie,dates,pine nuts, pickled beets , cherry tomatoes with a cherry rosemary balsamic vinaigrette dressing . (A tasty gluten free creation of the owner, Ava) I then tried the Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Cupcake with Vanilla Bean Silk Topping and yes, it was just as fabulous as it sounds!!

Oh my i am so excited i am moving to ohio this august and i have been looking for some place to get goodies. I would love a good red velvet cup cake i have not been able to find one in new hampshire. another fun one would be key lime i always wanted to try and make one!
