I ALWAYS have to gove props to Gluten Free Essentials. Why??? Because they are always on edge with…’is this perfect? Tell us if it’s not!’ And they mean it. Gluten Free Essentials was one of the first companies who used the Gluten Free Post team as a ‘testing ground’ to make sure their product was exactly right. I dont think I have been anything less than thrilled with all of their products to date, and THAT’S why they deserve the props and kudos!
I LOVE this new product they’ve come out with!!! Hug in a Mug, baby! (I added the ‘baby’ part). Great name, and what a concept. They know that all too often there might only be one Celiac in the house. Making a big dessert for just one person takes time and often a lot of it goes to waste. With Hug in a Mug, in less than 5 minutes, you’ve got a single (ok it might be enough to serve two, if you dont have a bottomless pit stomach like mine) serving, delicious dessert that you can do almost anything with.
All it takes is a 12oz Mug, an egg, a tablespoon of applesauce, and mix! Throw it in the microwave and Bazinga! I took the chocolate craving mix, and once it was done, I scooped in some vanilla ice cream, whipcream on top of that, then chocolate syrup! Talk about making my kids jealous…and no, I did not share, why shoud I?
Great job Gluten Free Essentials…another hit!

That is adorable! I love the idea. I’ve made the brownie in a mug, but a little spice cake sounds super yummy – especially is this chilly weather!
I want to post this on my twitter account,I’ve been working with glutenfreedee and want to get the word out about this product.
