People either love Wal-Mart or they hate Wal-Mart. Well, now its going to be a little harder for us to hate them. They have labeled their Great Value brand products gluten-free where applicable.Â
From MSNBC: At Wal-Mart, “gluten-free” products are hitting the shelves this month. The retailing giant is requiring suppliers to identify whenever gluten is used in its private-label products, said Bob Anderson, general merchandise manager of the company’s Great Value brand.  So far, 982 of the company’s 1,254 products have been identified as gluten-free.Thanks for the tip Brenda!

nice, but I can’t really believe that ’982 of the company’s 1,254 products’ will be marked gluten-free…and especially that all of them would come from facilities that are also completely gluten-free. (Important for the more intolerant of us.) Nice try Wally World, but I’m just not buying this smokescreen either. : /
We need a list of “Equate” drugs that are gluten free.
Since alot of us shop Walmart groceries and Walmart does sell gluten free products it would be helpful for Walmart to list their products….Especially for the elderly of whom I take care of to help cut down time in searching each and every label….Really would help!!!!
Yes I agree an actuall list would be very helpful and time saving. Has anyone suggested this to Walmart, and if not how can we go about doing so??
We are so greatful for the low prices and variety of Gf and cf food we can find at walmart
I am looking for a list of the Gluten Free Equate Brand items…drugs/toiletries/products. Is there one out there???
